What Is a Backlink Verifier?
A backlink is a link from another website to yours. You earn them from guest posts, directory listings, partners, reviews and press coverage, and over time some disappear: pages get edited, links get removed or switched to nofollow, and pages get deleted.
This verifier checks pages you already know about. Paste up to 10 URLs that should link to you and it confirms whether each link still exists, shows the anchor text, and flags links marked nofollow, sponsored or ugc, or on pages hidden from Google with noindex. It doesn’t discover unknown backlinks; that needs a large link index.

Backlink Mistakes
Never checking links you paid or worked for
Fix: Verify new links right away and re-check every few months.
Ignoring nofollow and sponsored labels
Fix: They’re legitimate, but they pass less ranking value. Know which links are which.
Buying links from link farms
Fix: Paid links meant to manipulate rankings break Google’s spam policies. Earn links with useful content instead.
Missing noindexed pages
Fix: A link on a page Google doesn’t index has little SEO value.

Questions about the Backlink Verifier
Does this find all my backlinks?
No. It checks pages you already know about. Finding unknown backlinks needs a large crawled link index, which our app tools can provide with your data provider key.
What does nofollow mean?
rel="nofollow" asks search engines not to pass ranking credit through a link. “sponsored” marks paid links and “ugc” marks user content.
Why check if the linking page is noindex?
If Google doesn’t index the page, it’s unlikely to count the link.
Is it free?
Yes. Up to 6 checks per hour, 10 pages each, no account.
Can it check links to a specific page?
It finds any link to your domain on each page and shows the exact URL each one points to.
Track backlinks over time
The Backlink Tracker in the app watches your links and shows when they change.
